WARRANTY

PDXX OFFROAD WHEELS STRUCTURAL WARRANTY

1. Warranty Coverage

PDXX OFFROAD warrants to the original retail purchaser that genuine PDXX OFFROAD wheels will be free from verified manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship that result in structural failure under normal and intended use for a period of ten (10) years from the original retail purchase date.

This warranty applies only to wheels:

- Purchased through authorised PDXX OFFROAD distributors or dealers;
- Installed and maintained in accordance with industry standards;
- Used within the published specifications and load ratings of the wheel.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser.

2. Important Warranty Limitation

This warranty covers verified manufacturing defects only.

The existence of cracking, deformation, vibration, air loss, wheel damage or any other observed condition does not in itself establish:

- A manufacturing defect;
- Warranty eligibility;
- Product failure;
- Liability by PDXX OFFROAD;
- Entitlement to repair, replacement, refund or any other remedy.

All warranty claims are subject to investigation and technical assessment.

3. Product Assessment Requirement

PDXX OFFROAD reserves the sole and exclusive right to determine:

- The cause of any reported condition;
- Whether the wheel was used within specification;
- Whether the wheel was properly installed and maintained;
- Whether the reported condition resulted from a manufacturing defect;
- Whether any warranty coverage applies.

No dealer, reseller, installer, vehicle owner, mechanic, tyre retailer, engineer or third party may make a binding warranty determination on behalf of PDXX OFFROAD.

4. What May Be Covered

Subject to inspection and verification by PDXX OFFROAD, this warranty may apply where a verified manufacturing defect results in structural failure during normal and intended use.Coverage may include repair, replacement or another remedy determined by PDXX OFFROAD in accordance with applicable law.

 5. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover, and PDXX OFFROAD shall have no obligation in relation to:

Impact Damage

- Pothole damage;
- Road hazard damage;
- Kerb strikes;
- Collision damage;
- Accident damage;
- Foreign object impacts.

Overloading and Vehicle Modifications

- Operation beyond the wheel's rated load capacity;
- Exceeding manufacturer axle load limits;
- Exceeding Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM);
- GVM upgrades;
- Suspension modifications affecting load distribution;
- Vehicle modifications resulting in increased loads.

Tyre-Related Issues

- Incorrect tyre size;
- Incorrect tyre load index;
- Incorrect tyre fitment;
- Incorrect inflation pressures;
- Tyre failure or tyre-related damage.

Use Outside Intended Conditions

- Off-road competition;
- Motorsport activities;
- Extreme off-road use;
- Commercial abuse;
- Mining applications;
- Emergency service applications;
- Military applications;
- Any use beyond the intended design parameters of the wheel.

Installation and Maintenance Issues

- Improper installation;
- Improper balancing;
- Improper maintenance;
- Use of incorrect hardware;
- Failure to follow industry installation standards.

Environmental and Cosmetic Conditions

- Corrosion;
- Surface oxidation;
- Paint deterioration;
- Coating deterioration;
- Stone chips;
- Brake dust damage;
- Chemical damage;
- Cosmetic appearance issues;
- Normal wear and tear.

 Other Exclusions

- Misuse;
- Abuse;
- Negligence;
- Alteration;
- Modification;
- Welding;
- Repair by unauthorised parties;
- Any condition not caused by a verified manufacturing defect.

 6. Claim Submission Requirements

To enable assessment of any claim, PDXX OFFROAD may require:

- Proof of purchase;
- Dealer information;
- Product serial numbers;
- Wheel specification information;
- Vehicle details;
- Vehicle modification details;
- Tyre specifications;
- Tyre load ratings;
- Tyre pressure records;
- Photographs;
- Service records;
- Installation records;
- Any additional information reasonably requested.

The claimant bears responsibility for providing sufficient information to support identification of the product, ownership and the claimed condition.

Where a purchase receipt is unavailable, PDXX OFFROAD may, at its sole discretion, consider alternative evidence of purchase.

7. Inspection and Testing

PDXX OFFROAD reserves the right to require:

- Return of the wheel(s);
- Physical inspection;
- Engineering review;
- Metallurgical analysis;
- Independent laboratory testing;
- Any additional technical assessment deemed necessary.

Photographs alone may not be sufficient to determine the cause of a reported condition.

Failure to provide requested products or information may result in closure of the claim without further assessment.

 8. Warranty Determination

Submission of a claim, photographs, documents or supporting materials does not constitute:

- Acceptance of liability;
- Acceptance of warranty coverage;
- Admission of defect;
- Admission of product failure;
- Approval of repair;
- Approval of replacement;
- Approval of refund.

Any warranty determination shall only be made after completion of PDXX OFFROAD's assessment process.

PDXX OFFROAD's findings shall be based upon the information, products and evidence available at the time of assessment.

 9. Remedy

If PDXX OFFROAD determines that a valid warranty claim exists, PDXX OFFROAD may, at its sole discretion and subject to applicable law:

- Repair the product;
- Replace the product;
- Replace the product with an equivalent product;
- Provide another remedy available under applicable law.

Replacement products may differ in finish, appearance or specification from the original product where the original product is no longer available.

Any replacement provided under this warranty shall not extend the original warranty period.

10. Costs Not Covered

Except where required by law, PDXX OFFROAD is not responsible for:

- Labour costs;
- Wheel removal costs;
- Wheel installation costs;
- Tyre removal costs;
- Tyre fitting costs;
- Wheel balancing costs;
- Freight costs;
- Vehicle recovery costs;
- Towing costs;
- Accommodation expenses;
- Loss of vehicle use;
- Loss of income;
- Consequential loss;
- Incidental damages;
- Third-party expenses.

11. Finish Warranty

Painted, coated, machined, polished and other cosmetic finishes are warranted against verified manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the original retail purchase date.

Cosmetic deterioration resulting from environmental exposure, maintenance practices or normal use is excluded.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
